Vinca major ‘Variegata’

Vinca major ‘Variegata’, also known as the variegated Greater Periwinkle, is a striking evergreen ground cover with graceful, variegated leaves. The oval, leathery leaves have a fresh green color with creamy edges, creating a playful and decorative effect. In spring and summer, violet-blue, star-shaped flowers appear that beautifully contrast with the foliage. This plant is very suitable for quickly and effectively covering large areas.

Vinca major ‘Variegata’ grows vigorously and forms long creeping stems that root at the nodes, allowing the plant to spread quickly. This makes it ideal for suppressing weeds and greening difficult spots such as shady borders, slopes, and underplanting of trees and shrubs. Due to its good adaptability, it grows well in sun, partial shade, and deep shade. In full sun, the leaves may lighten slightly, but the plant remains strong and vibrant.
